Costa des Carnatge is situated at five kilometres from Sant Ferran de ses Roques (it has the most modern church of Formentera, of 1889), located between Cala en Baster and Caló de Sant Agustí (ses Platgetes). In this natural setting nudism is allowed.
This coastal stretch is very long, it has a rocky area and a sandy ground, and it is really beautiful and sheltered when the weather is good.

This coastal area is located in the interior of the long bay of Tramuntana, surrounded by Punta Prima and de sa Creu, wich includes also Racó des Forat, es Picatxo, es Quintalar, es Quintalaret, Racó des Cans, Caló d’en Baster, Punta des Martinets, Penyal d’en Jaume, Punta Llarga, es Pujol des Vi, es Racó de sa Pujada and Punta de sa Palmera.

This beach is open to the wind from the northwest-north-northeast-east and you can anchor at one and a half hectometres from the coast, on a sandy and rocky ground, and the depth ranges from five to seven metres. On both sides of this bay you can also anchor, Cala en Baster and ses Platgetes-es Caló de Sant Agustí.

The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations next to this beach. The private car, moped or bicycle can be left on a free parking area in the surrounded by.
These characteristics explain that the beach is not very crowded by local visitors and tourists.

A red flag indicates dangerous swimming conditions and means that swimming is not permitted. A yellow flag indicates that precaution must be taken, but that swimming is permitted.
